We reached out to the fine folks of @sanandwolvesbakeshop and got our hands on their house made vegan Ube Halaya.
The heck is Ube Halaya? Essentially it’s a thick n sticky jam like puree made from mashed purple yam, coconut milk and some other top secret ingredients.
Infusing Ube Bay with their Halaya has enhanced the aromatics with layers of marshmallow and candied nuts, adding more depth, body and flavors of coconut and creamy vanilla.
