BAKTUNS HAS RETURNED

Baktuns - Imperial Stout. 10% ABV.

Our award-winning imperial stout is back, made with Coffee, Ancho + Guajillo Chilies and Vanilla Beans. Big notes of fresh coffee, dark chocolate and all the spice.

Originally home brewed in 2012 with a pre packaged Mayan Hot Chocolate mix, we decided to make our own spice blend to have complete control over the balance of the beer.

The name Baktuns (pronounced BOCK-TUNES) comes from the Mayan calendar, and the end of the 13th Baktun coincided with a lottt of the end of the world talk when we first brewed it. Thankfully that didn’t happen and we can still enjoy fresh pours of our favorite imperial stout - Baktuns.

TIGER DEN

Tiger Den - West Coast IPA with Riwaka , Strata and Peacharine. 7.2% ABV⁣

⁣We brought back our annual westie with @tigerstaproom to bring up to the bay for @sfbeerweek!

This year we loaded it up with hella rad Riwaka Hops, hella rad Strata hops AND a hella rad amount of Peacharine. We’re getting big punch notes of peach ring and fruit with a touch of dank!

Dedicated to every face of the legendary Mick Foley (even Mr. Socko.) Thank you for standing up for others when times are tough and showing us there’s still kindness and compassion out there. You sacrificed your body and mind for your fans and career. We were impressed by every bump you took, every chair shot you popped up from, and every cage you flew off of. But above all else, we’re most impressed by the content of your character. An inspiration to everyone to stand for what’s right.

Mrs. Foley’s Baby Boy - Hazy IPA with Citra, Tangier and Anchovy Hops. 7.0% ABV.

Foley bashes your tastebuds with notes of citrus, orange creamcicle, and watermelon candy, all with a finish cleaner than the Mandible Claw!

SCORING DUNKS

THEY JUST SCORED A DUNK!!

Scoring Dunks - West Coast IPA with Simcoe, Mosaic, Peacharine and Southern Cross. Collab with Hopsaint Brewing Company. 6.8% ABV.

We teamed up with our friends over at @hopsaintbrewingco for a brand new West Coast IPA. Scoring Dunks hits you with notes of grapefruit and white gummy bears straight from the tip off. It pulls up with fresh pine aromas, and drives it home with a crisp and smooth finish. BOOMSHAKALAKA!

We dreamed up this one thanks to @iamdannytoo ’s excitement when celebrating his BIG GABF win back in October. The conversation halted when Danny saw a play in the game on tv. He yelled out “They just scored a dunk!”, and we froze. We never heard it phrased like that or said so passionately. After recovering from laughing we knew we had our collab name. Congrats again on the big win, and for inspiring our collab!

This one’s for those repeated times when you’re snubbed by the academy, or when you’re passed on for that prestigious best looking award. When you jussst miss out on most likely to succeed, and didn’t even think about being most ambitious. It’s for the important traits that deserve the recognition!

Best Personality brightens up every room it walks into with notes of tropical candy, fresh squeezed citrus, and punchy hop aromas. Simply unforgettable!

HAZELNUT PERK

Hazelnut Perk - Coffee Blonde conditioned on Cacao Nibs and Hazelnuts - 5.0% ABV⁣⁣.⁣⁣⁣⁣

Our favorite holiday variant is back! One of our regulars, Pepe, planted a Hazelnut Perk can in his backyard a few years ago in hopes of having a supply at home. And wouldnt you know, it happens to blossom every winter! We’re sharing that supply with everyone, a holiday miracle!

Notes of rich hazelnut, creamy milk chocolate and freshly roasted coffee make up the wonderful aroma and flavor of this ultra fun beer, drinks smooth and delicious!

BIXBIER

KNOW YOUR WAY AROUND THE KNOLLS

BIXBIER - German Style Schwarzbier. 5.3% ABV.

We brewed up this German Style Schwarzbier in honor of the neighborhood we call home. A land with coffee and beer as far as the eye can see. Where community thrives and our neighbors lift each other up. And where the cutest lil national park you’ve ever seen hosts breathtaking views. We’re proud to play a part in this community that welcomed us with open arms, this one’s for the Knolls!

Bixbier is a beautifully crisp black lager that has a light roast and semi-sweet flavor profile with notes of dark caramel, cocoa nibs and Pumpernickel bread. An excellent Bier for the winter season!

BAH-TEH BAH-TEH CHOC-O-LA-TEH - Mexican Style Hot Chocolate Mocha Stout with Coffee, Cocoa Nibs, Vanilla, Cinnamon and Chile de árbol. 7.0% ABV. Collab with Craft Beer LB Homebrew Invitational Winner David Dillon

Let’s give David a big congrats for winning the Craft Beer LB Homebrew Invitational! Part of the prize for winning was brewing his recipe with us on our system at Ambitious. (What a lucky guy!) Spelled out phonetically, Bah-teh is a play on the traditional Mexican children’s rhyme used to teach the process of making hot chocolate!

The aroma POPS with wintery wisps of nutmeg, cinnamon and spices, followed by tasting notes of chiles, chocolate, coffee and vanilla. 

Fun fact: When we were doing research on the name, we saw numerous results from Dora the Explorer teaching the song. David was (pleasantly?) surprised to find this out. Congrats again on your big win and enjoy your Dora themed label David!

We brought back a unique and special Hazy IPA to reallyyyy impress everyone! This Hazy is a tropical fruit bomb of Citrus, Strawberry and Passionfruit with a nicely balanced dankalicious bite. Smooth and juicy, an easy classic! ⁣

MUTANTS FROM TABLE 9

We teamed up with our friends over at @bottlelogicbrewing to make one for that guy right there and that lady with the sideburns.

Mutants From Table 9 - Bourbon Barrel Aged Barleywine with Peach, Granola and Vanilla. 12.0% ABV.

For just over 2 years, this barleywine has been aging in a trio of bourbon barrels: 1/3rd Russell’s Reserve + 2/3rds Elijiah Craig. This cute lil Can O’ Mutants is like taking a bite of Peach Cobbler  alongside a sip of Bourbon neat. Luscious notes of caramel, molasses, raisins, with hints of peach and vanilla.
