We realized that in the 5 years of Ambitious we have never done the classic combo of only Citra and Mosaic in a west coast, so we went big with this one to make sure it really stood out! Brewed with Citra T90 and Citra Dynaboost in the whirlpool and dry hopped extensively with Citra and Mosaic. Intensely aromatic with a huge punch of fresh dankness, citrus and resin! A true homage to the classic west coast style!

MODERN ANALOG

Saturday, June 29 from 12-5pm for a community event featuring an analog marketplace, a community art gallery, instant film portraits, craft beer, tasty food, and positive vibes.

As a thank you to the local analog community we are providing an open gallery for local artists to showcase their film photography. Our gallery contains a range of artists from first-time exhibitors to industry professionals. The photographs will be on display from June 29th to July 28th. All prints are available for purchase, unless indicated otherwise.

Mango Suman - Rice Lager with Mango and Coconut 🍚🥭🥥 5.8% ABV.

Brewed with rice + raw coconut in the mash then conditioned on toasted coconut + mango puree post fermentation. Full bodied, subtle fruit with a crispy finish. Mango, Coconut & Vanilla on the nose with some notes of Honey & Papaya on the palette. VERY NICE!

Honored to be a part of @harlandbeer’s Celebrating Asian American Pacific Islander month. They collaborated with 4 breweries of AAPI influence and plan to drop 4 releases this month with each participating brewery. Be sure to keep a look out for all of their releases!

We did a home and away collab of two different beers (1 brewed here in Long Beach, and a different beer brewed in San Diego to be released later this month) It was super duper fun hangin with Aaron, Jake and Jasper talking shop, adjuncts, golf, life, travel and everything in between. Thats what collabs are all about!

We’ll be diving into some uncharted waters for our next movie night, Monday April 22nd we’re showing The Eras Tour in the backlot at 5:30! We’ll be pairing up our taplist with each Era, have Era themed squishees, and a special themed drinking game.

I’m Riwakin Here! - Double Dry Hopped West Coast IPA with Riwaka, Waimea and NZ Cascade 6.8% ABV

We seriously packed this west coast with an insane amount of New Zealand’s finest @freestylehops, especially some really nice Riwaka that we don’t get to use often! This is just boomin with a huge tropical and citrus punch along with some very piney and resinous dank aromatics! We’re loving it!

It’s back!! Conditioned with Toasted Coconut, Madagascar Vanilla Bean & Ube Halaya from @sanandwolvesbakeshop - 6% ABV ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

We’re extremely stoked on the outcome of this batch. We reached out to the fine folks of @sanandwolvesbakeshop and got our hands on their house made vegan Ube Halaya.

The heck is Ube Halaya? Essentially it’s a thick n sticky jam like puree made from mashed purple yam, coconut milk and some other top secret ingredients.

Infusing Ube Bay with their Halaya enhanced the aromatics with layers of marshmallow and candied nuts, adding more depth, body and flavors of coconut and creamy vanilla.

5 YEAR PLAN

He has a 5 year plan! What is it? Dont Die!?

The final beer release for our 5 Year Anniversary is something special that we’ve been aging for quite some time! 

5 Year Plan - Triple Barrel Imperial Stout 15% ABV

What’s a Triple Barrel Imperial Stout? Welp, we took one of our favorite Imperial Stout recipes and aged it in a total of three different Bourbon Barrels. It started in several Heaven Hill Vintages for a total of 2 years, then blended and aged in another freshly emptied Clyde Mays Barrel for an additional year. The final product was then packaged in a fun 8oz stubby, truly showcasing what wood and time can do to a beer. 

Layered with velvety rich chocolate, subtle spice, oaky vanilla and a hint of heat from the bourbon the wood once held.

ROK - Hazy IPA with HBC 1019, Mosaic, Strata, Anchovy Hops and Kohia Nelson Hop Kief 7.2% ABV

For our next 5 year Anniversary release we took some of our favorite hop profiles from our favorite growers this past year and packed them into one seriously juicy, hop forward IPA. Exploding with notes of tropical POG juice, creamy coconut custard and aromatics which would make a Blue Duck say “That’s Danktastic”-🦆

Our first beer release for our 5 year anniversary is an ode to the beloved classic Champagne Of Beers we’ve all had at our local dives once or twice 😏

Reading is Good - American Lager 4.5% ABV

A refreshingly simple beer brewed with heaping amounts of flaked corn in the mash. This light lager has an extra crispy sensation that resonates with a light bitterness and sweet corn like feel, reminiscent of all those industrial lagers we all know so well. Perfect for drinking all day and even better as a spaghett with our Amaro!
