OUR STORY

Ambitious Ales started in 2012, in the happy hungover days after a trip to the Oregon Brewers Festival ignited our passion for craft beer and left us wondering: could we make beer? So, we tried and found we could! It wasn’t good, but we could! 

With each brew we tried to learn and improve. We tinkered with our processes and tested better ingredients and slowly upgraded our infrastructure. In 2019, we opened the doors to our very own brewery in Bixby Knolls, Long Beach, at the historic Tuttle Cameras building, which was originally constructed in 1941. And to this day, we’re still testing, experimenting, and trying to make the best beers we can in a space all can enjoy. 

If you’re wondering if we ever got any good, you can trust the GABF medals or you can come in and see for yourself. We think you’ll find something you like, but we’re happy to talk about it regardless!
